Phyllis Stoltz of Venice, FL, formerly of Newington, died Oct. 31. She was the wife of Jerry Stoltz. She was born in Hartford, and raised in West Hartford. She was a co-founder and member of Temple Sinai in Newington and the Jewish Congregation of Venice. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Ellen Stoltz and her husband Chris Nickerson of Granby, Michael Stoltz and his wife Robin of Smithtown, N.Y., and Edie Zolkower and her husband Richard of Nashville, TN; her sister, Carolyn Marcus and her husband Mike Fields of Rochester, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Paul Stoltz, Leah Stoltz, Ben Zolkower, Michelle Myers (Jordan), and Sandra Nolte (Frank); her six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
