HEISER

Vivian Carol Heiser, 77, of Woodbridge, formerly of Nashville, Tenn. and West Haven, died Jan. 28. She was the wife of Arnold M. Heiser. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 29, 1941, she was the daughter of Mildred (Grablowsky) and Herman Jacobs. She majored in home economics at Brooklyn College and enjoyed a first career in recipe testing. She earned a Master’s Degree from Peabody College of Education and enjoyed a second career in early childhood education. She also volunteered with a number of organizations, including an adult literacy program in Nashville, League of Women Voters, and Room In the Inn. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Peggy Milstein; her children, Naomi Heiser and her husband Scott Diddams, and David Heiser and his wife Patricia Mangold Heiser; her grandchildren, Ariel and Ilana Heiser-Diddams, and Jonah and Orion Mangold Heiser; and her nieces, Natalie, Janet and Karen.
