Lawrence (“Larry”) R. Goldman, 86, of West Hartford, formerly of Delray Beach, Fla. and Avon, died April 13. He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Madnick) Goldman. Born in Worcester, Mass., he was the son of Bessie (Grace) Goldman. He served during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He was a past member of the former Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sharon Johnson and her husband Chris of Newington, Howard Goldman and his wife Tracey of South Glastonbury, Robert Goldman of Wethersfield, and Susan Goldman and her husband Olivier Humbert of Magnolia, Mass.; his grandchildren, Brian and Kevin Johnson, Jonathan Goldman and his wife Emelia, Erica Goldman and her fiancé Neer Hershtig, Benjamin and Nicolas Goldman; his step-grandchildren, Matthew and Marc Humbert; and several nieces and nephews.
