Saying Thanks to U.S. Soldiers

Card for U.S. Soldier

Hebrew school students in preschool through seventh grade at Congregation Adath Israel in Newtown decorated Chanukah cards and wrote words of thanks to U.S. soldiers through Mail for Heroes program organized by the Red Cross and Pitney Bowes. The kids sent a total of 42 greeting cards to American men and women serving at military bases around the world.
