Patient empowerment in West Hartford

Dr. Bernard Siegel

More than 50 Partners in Senior Life members from around the United States and Canada gathered in West Hartford for education, leadership development and networking opportunities at the organization’s annual three-day conference in May. Hosted by the Auxiliary of Hebrew Health Care, the conference also featured a keynote
address by the nationally and internationally renowned Dr. Bernard Siegel, a strong and vocal advocate of patient empowerment and the choice to live fully and die in peace. In May 2011, Bernie was honored by the Watkins Review of London, England, as one of the Top 20 Spiritually Influential Living People on the Planet.
