Close to 50 guests feasted on homemade soups, salads and desserts – served up in hand-crafted bowls donated by area potters – at an Empty Bowls party hosted by Kehilat Chaverim of Greater Hartford on Saturday evening, Nov. 17. The tasteful event, held at a member’s home in West Hartford just before Thanksgiving, raised $400 for Foodshare. Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger, created by The Imagine Render Group.
