Selma (Herzog) Young, 85, of Meriden and formerly of New Haven, died March 4. She was the wife of Joe Young. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Nathan & Mary (Dannowitz) Zudekoff. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jayne (Wesley) Markman of Orange, Michael Herzog of Dallas, Tex., and Jeffrey Herzog of East Haven; a brother, Dr. Sydney (Arlene) Zudekoff of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Adam and Rachel Markman.
