Jules S. “Jack” Tarlow, 88, of Hilton Head, S.C., formerly of West Hartford, died Sept. 12. He was the husband of Rosalind Davidson Tarlow. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Julius Marcus Tarlow and Ruth Hess Tarlow. During World War II, he served as a United States Navy aviator in the Pacific campaign in the Aleutian Islands, having enlisted shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Constance Neiditch of Hilton Head; and his children, Kim Stone and her husband, Ken of Crested Butte, Colo.; Jane Tarlow of Breckenridge, Colo.; John Tarlow and his wife, Holly of Bozeman, Mont., and Wendy Tarlow and her husband James Tantillo of Trumansburg, N.Y.; and his grandchildren, Jed Tarlow, Sarajane Tarlow, Julia Tantillo, and Sophia Tantillo.
