Rhoda Wiesenberg Brownstein, 88, of New Haven, died August 5. She was the widow of Gerald William Brownstein. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Helen Weiss Wiesenberg and William Maurice Wiesenberg. She was also predeceased by her son, Andrew Bernard Brownstein, and her brother, William James. She is survived by her children, Anne Jessica Brownstein and her partner Michael H. Kehrer of Long Beach, N.Y., and Michael Mark Brownstein and his wife, Judith Schaechter of Arlington, Mass.; her granddaughter Alana of Arlington, Mass.; her cousin Daniel Dorff of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her sister-in-law Susan Brownstein Grody and her husband Marvin; and a niece, several nephews, and great-nephews and great-nieces.
