CHANUKAH ON PARADE IN HARTFORD

On Dec. 15 – the day before Chanukah – a procession of 20 vehicles topped by giant menorahs cruised along the popular boulevards of West Hartford, Hartford, and Glastonbury as part of a Chanukah parade organized by Chabad. Along the way, participants were treated to a treasure hunt, a gourmet latke bar and lots more.

Michael Black of West Hartford affixed his menorah to the roof of his shiny blue classic Corvette Stingray. “Chanukah is the ‘Festival of Lights,’” he said.  “We need to more light in the world.”
