Ruth M. Green, 86, of Fairfield, formerly of Bridgeport, died Feb. 9. She was the widow of Bernard Green. Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Mila (Haber) Moor. She was a member of Congregation B’nai Israel. She is survived by her children, Barbara Green Orell and her husband, Jeffrey, Joel Z. Green and his wife, Erica, and Judy Green Blumenthal and her husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Jonathan Orell and his wife, Bailey, Benjamin Orell, Joshua Orell, Jacob Blumenthal, Molly Blumenthal, Sarah Green and Anna Green; her great-grandson, Oliver Orell; and her brother and sister-in-law, Julius and Nancy Green. She was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Ingrid and Kurt Loebel.
