Study: NY, Boston, Miami are ‘most-Jewish’ U.S. cities

(JNS.org) A new study by the Public Religion Research Institute shows that New York City, Boston, and Miami are the three most Jewish cities per capita in the U.S. Eight percent of New York City residents are Jewish, followed by six percent of Boston residents and five percent of Miami residents. The northeastern U.S. boasts the most Jewish residents of any region, at four percent. The states of New York and New Jersey have the most Jewish residents per capita – six percent of each state’s population.
