Hebrew HealthCare in West Hartford seeks volunteers to interact with residents and staff in a variety of capacities: e.g., socializing with residents by listening to their stories and memories, playing cards and games with them; helping out in the adult day care center, administrative offices, gift shop and café. Volunteers with specialized skill which can enhance the life of residents, such as Reiki or pet therapy, are welcome as well.
