Sidney A. Morochnik, 87, of Newington, died March 19. He was the husband of Phyllis (Pollock) Morochnik. Born in New York City, he was the son of Charles E. and Ray (Langstein) Morrow. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member of Temple Sinai in Newington. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Ellen Tomolonius of Newington, Neil Morochnik of Newington, and Paul Morochnik and his wife Halley of Dunwoody, Ga.; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Tomolonius and his wife Melissa of Newington, Nathan Tomolonius and Jacob Morochnik, both of Newington, Rachel Morochnik and Zachary Morochnik of Dunwoody, Ga.; his great-grandchildren, Olivia Tomolonius and Ryan Tomolonius; and many nieces and nephews.
