Helping youth “inside out”

Clinicians of Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford were among the presenters at the recent Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) Conference in Hartford, sponsored by Child Health and Development Institute. The TF-CBT Conference is a statewide gathering of all agencies actively providing trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy to children in Connecticut. Agencies can volunteer to facilitate presentations on different components of the trauma model for clinical and educational purposes. The JFS team’s workshop, “Inside Out,” focused on facilitating a module for youth when traditional strategies prove ineffective.
