Dr. Frank Maslan, age 97, of West Hartford, died June 15. He was the beloved husband of Roslyne (Eisenberg) Rosenfield Maslan. Born in Kansas City, Mo. he was the son of the late Samuel and Alice (Gedanken) Maslan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Peggy Simons Segall and her husband Marc, Mark Jonathan Maslan and his wife Ann, and Susan Amy (Maslan) Arnold and her husband Oliver, all of California; his grandchildren, Stephen Segall, Rachel Segall and David Segall, son Daniel Maslan, and Daisy Arnold; his stepchildren, Stephen Rosenfield and his wife Cheryl of West Hartford, Samuel Rosenfield and his wife Ruth of Avon and Phoenix, Ariz., Matthew Rosenfield of West Hartford, and David Rosenfield of West Hartford; his step-grandchildren, Andrea Rosenfield and Eric Rosenfield, Rachael Adger and her husband Kevin, Robert Rosenfield and his wife Julia, and Joseph Rosenfield and his wife Stacey; and four great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Minnie (Maslan) Ross, Leon Maslan, and David Maslan.
