Providing Feasts for Families

WEST HARTFORD – Jewish Family Services (JFS) and The Crown Market in West Hartford are partnering this Thanksgiving season to feed 100 families served by JFS’ Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry. Volunteers will deliver grocery bags stuffed with turkey and all the trimmings in time for Thanksgiving Day. Donations are being accepted both online and at The Crown, located at Bishop’s Corner, now through Nov. 20. Donations of $18, paired with in-kind donations from The Crown Market, will feed a family of four. “Our family is committed to ensuring that no one in the JFS community goes hungry, especially during the holiday season. The Thanksgiving Food Drive is a meaningful opportunity to teach our children to be thankful and give back,” said Pia Rosenberg Toro, JFS development co-chair.
