Melvin Kosovsky of West Hartford died Oct. 7. He was the widower Betsy Ruth (Lebowitz) Kosovsky. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Albert and Lillian (Webber) Kosovsky. He was a United States Air Force veteran of World War II. He is survived by his children, Wendy Kern Seymour and her husband Thomas, Joel Kosovsky and his wife Karen, and Marshall Kosovsky and his wife Marguerite; his grandchildren, Bradd, Katie (Chris), Elizabeth, Alex, Brian, Matthew, Ian, Leah, and Russell; and his great-granddaughters, Carolina and Annabel.
