Teaching teens to be philanthropic

United Jewish Federation of Stamford, new Canaan and Darien is now accepting applications for the seventh cohort of the 2018-2019 Kuriansky Teen Tzedakah Corps. The Kuriansky Teen Tzedakah Corps is a leadership training program that explores the fundamentals of philanthropy, preparing teens to become communal leaders. Teens learn to navigate a grant allocation process, culminating with the awarding of grants to organizations of the teens’ choice.

The Tzedakah Corps meets one Sunday a month for two hours over the course of the school year. Dinner is served. To apply, contact Jessie katz at Jessie@ujf.org or (617) 224-2509.
