Alvin Goldstein, 82, of Avon, died April 24. He was the husband of Shirley (Rabinowitz) Goldstein. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Herbert D. and Rose (Glazier) Goldstein. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jeffrey W. Goldstein and his wife Colleen of Tampa, Fla., and Steven Goldstein and his wife Buyana of New York, N.Y.; his brother Barry Goldstein and his wife Marsha of Newington; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Hillary and Sidd; and his great-grandson Ben.
