Carol Susan Cunin, 80, of Simsbury, and Tucson, Arizona, died July 5. She was the wife of Dr. Burton Cunin. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Elizabeth Lazarus. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her stepchildren, Joseph Cunin and his husband Sylvan, Elizabeth Kartsen and her husband Douglas, and Benjamin Cunin and his partner Martha; her step-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kaitlin Kartsen, and Sofia Cunin;  two nephews and their families. She was also predeceased by her sister Sandra Jacobs. She was a member of Beth El Synagogue in West Hartford.
