Matthew Lasker, 37, of West Hartford, Conn., died July 3. He was the son of Cheryl Kanter Lasker of West Hartford and Richard (Bonnie) Lasker of Bloomfield. He earned his BA in criminal justice from Mitchell College. He was employed by Allied Universal Security. Brian was a sincere, loving person who cared deeply about his friends and family, and was always willing to help anyone in need. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Sophia Lasker of Waterbury; his brothers, Joshua Lasker of West Hartford and Jeffrey Lasker and his wife Jennifer of Simsbury; his nieces Spencer and Zoey Lasker of Simsbury; his aunt Elaine (Burton) Gold of New London; and his uncle Bruce Kanter of Bloomfield
