Philip J. Hendel, 84, of Longmeadow, Mass., died Oct. 6. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret. He was the son of the late Daniel Hendel and Rose (Cohen) Hendel. He is survived by his sons from his first marriage to Joy Hendel, Daniel Hendel and William Hendel; his stepson Aaron Baskin; his brother Robert Hendel and his wife Deborah Hendel; and several nieces and a nephew.
