Susan Parker Schachtel or Jupiter, Florida, formerly of New Canaan, Conn., died Sept. 6. She was the wife of Bernard Schachtel. Raised in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Thelma Parker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Emily Schachtel, and Doug Schachtel and his wife Marieve);  her grandchildren, Eli and Sunny; and her sister Marlene Feldman and her husband Peter.
