David Berman, 99, of Woodbridge, Conn., died Jan. 20. He was predeceased by his wives, Barbara Fromkin and Rhoda Rubens Russota. Born in New Haven, Conn., he was the son of Anna and William Berman. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Gant Kops and her husband Steve of Guilford, Conn., Linda Berman Soffer of Middletown, Conn., and Ellen Berman Murphy and her husband Kent of New City; her grandchildren, Jacob (Alyssa) and Aaron Gant, both of New Haven, Jeffrey (Rachel Grant) Schlesinger of Philadelphia, Penn., Zachary Soffer of Branford, Conn., Brett Soffer of Middletown, and Daniel Soffer of Guilford. He was predeceased by his siblings, Irving, Lillian, and Harriet.
