Paul Menkes of Fairfield, Conn., died January 22. Born in 1924 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Hyman and Pauline (Cohen) Menkes. He proudly served as a LT JG in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He is survived by his wife, Aimee (Coscas) Menkes; a son, Michael Menkes; a daughter, Cathy (Paul) Olson; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Nicholas , Alexander, and Katheryn Menkes, Olivia and Eric Olson.
