Carl M. Cassin MD, 91, of Cheshire, Conn., formerly of Hamden, Conn. and Chelsea, Mass., died May 20. Born in Boston, Mass, he was the son of Benjamin and Dorothy (Freedman) Cassin. He was predeceased by his wife Myrna K. Cassin, and his sister Claire M. Cassin. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Johnson (Robert Paul Johnson), Michele Cassin Wong, and Susan Cassin Zanker; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Amy), Luke (Myles), William, Brandon (Liz), Evan, Erik and Jared; and his great-grandson Nathaniel. He enlisted in the US Army reserves from 1950 to 1965.
