Senator Richard Blumenthal was among the many dignitaries and community leaders who joined the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in honoring Nancy and Bill Zisson of Greenwich, and Judith Altmann of Stamford, at the organization’s 2013 Daniel R. Ginsberg Humanitarian Award Reception and Centennial Gala on Oct. 20 at Temple Sholom in Greenwich.

“It was an exceptional evening,” said ADL Connecticut Regional Director Gary Jones. “We had highly deserving honorees who clearly understand the value of ADL’s work. We are proud of the strong relationship we have with the towns comprising Lower Fairfield County and the support we have from our constituents in those towns. We are enormously appreciative that Sen. Blumenthal took the time to address our guests. A past Daniel R. Ginsberg award recipient himself in 2001, he is a longtime supporter and friend of ADL. His ability to explain the role of ADL in helping to support and pass important civil rights legislative initiatives, particularly on issues concerning comprehensive immigration reform, further reinforced the impact we have in making Connecticut a better and more inclusive place to live and work.”
