Close to 600 people came out in the rain one recent afternoon to take part in the Friendship Day & Walk sponsored by Friendship Circle of Fairfield County. According to organizers, the fun event helped raise $70,000-plus to support the multitude of programs Friendship Circle offers to the more than 100 special individuals (and their families!) with special needs throughout Fairfield County.
