Registration is now open for Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a free six-week educational program designed to equip those caring for an ailing loved one with strategies that will help them care for themselves – i.e., communicate their feelings, find balance in their lives, make tough decisions, locate resources, etc. Facilitated by Janice Zwicker, RN, and Ken Winkelstern, the program is perfect for caregivers helping loved ones living at home or in a nursing home, locally or across the country. Classes will be held at the Jewish Federation of Western CT, 444 Main St. North in Southbury, Monday, Oct. 31 – Dec. 5, 1-3:30 p.m. Registration is required.
