BLOOMFIELD – Tema Kaiser Silk of West Hartford recently was elected president of the Board of Directors of Congregation B’nai Tikvoh-Sholom in Bloomfield. Silk, a reporter and commentary editor at New England Public Radio, said she looks forward to helping the Conservative synagogue continue to develop and grow its Neshama Center, a life-long learning program focused building community. Open to people of all faiths, Neshama offers multi-session courses, as well as single-session programs and workshops, on topics such as mindfulness, Mussar, creativity (hands-on art projects), Talmud study, and much more.
