More than 275 members and friends of the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield helped to raise $34,000 at the organization’s 43rd Annual Women’s Auxiliary Spring Luncheon and Boutique on May 2 at The Waterview in Monroe. Co-chaired by Peri Cook and Susan Freed, both of Fairfield, the event featured best-selling author and Connecticut resident Jane Green as keynote speaker. “We appreciate the support from the community year-round that helps the Women’s Auxiliary carry out our mission to enhance quality of life at The Jewish Home,” said Sandy Young, of Fairfield, Women’s Auxiliary president.
