Hartford’s Jewish agencies offer help to those in need

The expiration of Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation and the devastating impact of Tropical Storm Isaias have over the past few weeks brought with them additional challenges for many in our region. The Greater Hartford Jewish community is here to help. If you or a friend or family member living in the Hartford are are struggling to make ends meet, please visit www.jewishhartford.org/get-help-covid19 to find out how you can receive: to know that your Jewish community is here to help:

• Bags of nonperishable kosher food items, provided by Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford;

• Emergency financial assistance provided by the Jewish Hartford Rapid Relief and Recovery Fund, administered by the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford.
