By the time you read this, Richard Blumenthal (left) will have been sworn in as Connecticut’s new junior Senator.  But when he attended the Chanukah celebration hosted by Beth Israel of Westport/Norwalk at Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk – and posed for this photo with the shul’s spiritual leader Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht and his wife Freida –  he was still the state’s attorney general.
