I. David Horowitz, 94, of New Haven died March 11. He was the widower of Ida Lebowsky Horowitz. Born in West Haven, he was the son of the late Rubin and Nellie (Strauss) Horowitz. He is survived by his children, Richard (Vicki) Horowitz of Woodbridge; his grandchildren, Adam (Kara) Gross, Emily (Ethan) Bessey, Karen Gross, Jaime Horowitz and Toby Horowitz; and three great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his son Richele “Ricki” Horowitz Gross, and his siblings: Daisy Cohen, Ida Pomerantz, Freida Paul, Esther Moscow, and Rose Schloss.
