Herbert Rose, 88, of Branford died July 19.  He was the husband of Blossom Rosen Rose.  Born in Vienna, Austria, he was the son of the late Nora and Felix Rose.  He was a part of the Kinder Transport during the Holocaus, and a verteran of the U.S. Army.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Steven Rose and Shelly Rose; his son-in-law Gershon Weiss; and his grandson, Daniel Weiss. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Elliot Rose.
