Dr. Julia M. McNamara, president of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, congratulates Rabbi Herbert N. Brockman, spiritual leader of Hamden’s Congregation Mishkan Israel, who received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree at the College’s 91st Commencement on May 18. Rabbi Brockman was honored for his many years of dedication to promoting social justice and interfaith cooperation.
