Herbert L. Snyder, M.D., 90, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Manchester, died April 2. He was the husband of Miriam Z. Snyder. He grew up in West Hartford and was the son of the late Abraham and Eva Hirshberg Snyder. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II, as a meteorologist stationed in the Aleutian Islands and received a Letter of Commendation recognizing his outstanding service. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Debbe Greenspan and her husband Richard Greenspan; his daughter-in-law, Susan Snyder; his granddaughters, Tara N. Kinney and her husband Peter Kinney, Jr. of Andover, Mass., Alison S. Uthe and her husband Josh Uthe of Raleigh, N.C., Tracey L. Greenspan of Tarrytown, N.Y., and Leslie Snyder of Raleigh, N.C.; and four great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Carter, Avery and Mason. He was also predeceased by his son, Robert G. Snyder; his sister, Thelma Sigal; and his brother-in-law, Nathan Sigal. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
