Greta (Lowenstein) Meier, 90, of West Hartford, died June 7. She was the daughter of the late Berthold and Martha Lowenstein. Born in Bocholt, Germany, she escaped Nazi occupation on the Kindertransport to England and immigrated to Baltimore, MD in 1946. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Sam) Rosenfeld, Ron (Joyce Raynor) Meier, Leslie (Michael Hines) Meier, and Debbie (Steve) Kleinman; her brother, Jack (late Madge) Lawson and Ilsa (late John) Lebach; her grandchildren, Adam (Marcia) and Dan Rosenfeld, Rachel Meier and Jessica (Jason) Werner, and Eric and Lauren Meier Hines; her great-grandchildren, Kieran, Max, Oliver and Mia; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law, Madge Lawson, and her brother-in-law, John Lebach. WEINSTEIN MORTUARY
