Molly (Shaskin) Platcow, 84, of Hamden, died Oct. 1. She was the widow of Milton Platcow. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Shaskin and Sadie Wolfe Shaskin. She is survived by her children, Reyna Jose and her husband Ernesto of East Berlin, Penn., Stuart Platcow and his wife Anna of Harleysville, Penn., and Philip Platcow and his wife Karen of Brookline, Mass.; her brothers, Abraham and Milton Shaskin; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Alissa, Melanie, Michael, and Samuel.
