MOSTEL

Stella (Krampf) Mostel, 78, a resident of Hebrew Home in West Hartford, passed away on Feb. 10, 2017, of Lewy Body Dementia. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Arthur P. Mostel. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Sam and Fannie (Mollov) Krampf. She graduated from Walton High School and Hunter College. She met her beloved husband Arthur when she was 17 years old, and they celebrated 58 years of marriage together, mostly in Stamford, Conn. She was a business education teacher in New York City until she had children. She later returned to further her education, gaining her Masters degree and PhD in sex therapy and maintaining a flourishing private practice in Stamford. She was an active member of Hadassah and Chavurat Aytz Chayim of Stamford. During her retirement years, she enjoyed travelling to see her children and grandchildren and enjoying her social life with her husband and friends in Stamford. When her health began to decline, she and her husband moved to the Atria in Stamford, where they were able to enjoy several more years together. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind three children, Carolyn Mostel Weiser and her husband Jeffrey Weiser of West Hartford, Rob Mostel and Sigal Tal Or of Kibbutz Megiddo, Israel, and Linda Mostel Kucinski and her husband Daniel Kucinski of San Diego; 10 grandchildren, Kfir, Ronen, Barak, and Raam Mostel, Samantha, Emily, and Sydney Weiser, and Josh, Amanda, and Jacob Kucinski; and her brother, Walter Krampf of Sebastopol, Calif.
