Myron S. Freed, 90, of West Hartford, formerly of East Hartford, died May 30. He was the husband of Estelle (Sherman) Freed. Born in Pittston, Penn., he was the son of the late Adolph Freed and Ella (Kleinberger) Freed. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Temple Beth Tefilah in East Hartford, and The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Michael I. Freed of Dayton, Ohio, and Andrew J. Freed and his wife Tracy of Magnolia, Mass.; his grandchildren, Emily Freed and her husband Brad Hershbein, Zachary Freed and his wife Karen, Amanda Freed, Alexandra Freed, Jack Freed, and Charlotte Freed; and his great-grandchild, Addison Freed; his sister-in-law Rosalyn Darefsky; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Reva, Jeanette, Cyril, Monroe, Irwin, Selma and Gytelle.
