Good deeds and goodies

Emmy Marcus and Jordana Latzman, eighth-graders at Bedford Middle School in Westport, volunteered to deliver holiday food items to an area senior on behalf of Schoke Jewish Family Service (JFS). Every year, the Westport-based JFS coordinates the delivery of holiday food items to community members who need assistance celebrating the holiday. The teens not only delivered holiday “goodies,” they also spent some time visiting with the recipient. For more information on volunteer opportunities, contact Rebekah Kanefsky at rkanefsky@ctjfs.org or (203) 921-4161.
