Rhea Belle Pasternack Gaer, 99, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Hartford, New Britain, West Hartford, Wethersfield and Clinton, died Nov. 5. She was the widow of Meyer Gaer. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Clara (Brandvein) Pasternack. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Carolyn and her husband Victor, and Irene Brugg and her husband Michael; her brother Saul Pasternack of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Marc Brugg and his wife Betsy, Sandra Schuman and her husband Mark, Debra Newton and her husband Reed, and Michael and Jod; her great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Jake, Gabrielle, Samantha, Matthew, Arianna, Kaiden, Braxton, Adelyn and Adrienne. She was predeceased by her siblings, Etta Beck, Edith Libbin and Robert Pasternack.
