Gary Benanav, 73, of West Hartford and New York City, died on August 25. He was the husband of Ruth Benanav. Born in Tel Aviv, he was the son of Joshua and Aviva Benanav (née Isadora Rosen). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael and his wife Kelly, Tami and her husband Jorge, and Steven and his wife Tina; his grandchildren, David, Sara, Luke and Mila; his brothers, Jay and his wife Lucy, and Dan, and his wife MaryEllen; and five nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Jonathan and his sister Tamar.
