Shirley M. Allen, 87, of Guilford, died Sept. 18. She was the widow of Stanley Allen. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., She is survived by her daughters, Marcy Allen-Carsten and her husband Mark, and Mitzi Allen-Harris and her husband Richard; her brother Harold Stern; her grandchildren Eric, Evan and Alyson; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins.
