Lori and David Mathog of West Hartford were among 250 people who were invited by the Consulate General of Israel to attend a briefing by Israeli President Shimon Peres (right) on Friday, April 8 at UJA Federation headquarters in New York City. Peres, said the Mathogs, delivered an impassioned speech to Federation’s Young Leadership members and took a broad range of questions on issues related to the Middle East.
