Nathan Kaplan, 85, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Hartford, died August 19. He was the widower of Judy Rosenthal Kaplan. He was the son of the late Henry and Annie Kaplan. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Mimi) Kaplan; his granddaughters, Melissa Kaplan (fiancé Bob Marsh) and Traci Kaplan; his great-granddaughter Jessica Rose Marsh; Joyce Kaplan; his brother Mel Kane; and his brothers-in-law, Al Rosenthal and Joe Miller.
