Greenwich JFS launches Support Group Center

Jewish Family Services of Greenwich (JFS) has expanded its support group program with the introduction of The Support Group Center. All of the Center’s groups are strictly confidential.  Group leaders are licensed social workers with significant experience in facilitating support groups. Unless otherwise noted, groups take place at JFS, One Holly Hill Lane in Greenwich. The cost is $20 per session.
The following is a list of the support group services offered:

Divorce Support Group
Wednesdays, 5:30 – 6:45 p.m.

Bereavement Support Group
Tuesdays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Seven Basic Attributes  
For those seeking comfort and connection in challenging times, as well as those in need of personal growth and healing.
Seven Fridays, noon – 1 p.m., starts Oct. 19
This program meets at the Greenwich Hospital Chapel

Parents of Children with ADD/ADHD  and Other Learning Disabilities  
Designed to provide support and education for parents of children with  ADHD/ADD and learning disabilities.
Eight Tuesdays, 12:30 – 1:45 p.m., starts Oct. 23

Broken Families, Healing Hearts
Designed to give participants an opportunity to explore strained family relationships in a safe environment.
Eight Thursdays, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., starts Nov. 8

Infertility Support Group
Eight Mondays, 11:15 a.m. –12:30 p.m. , starts Nov. 5

Walking on Eggshells: Nurturing Jewish Identity in Your Interfaith Grandchildren
Four Tuesdays, 1 – 2 p.m., starts Nov. 6

Parents of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transsexual or Questioning (LGBTQ) Children
Eight Wednesdays, 12:30 – 1:45 p.m., starts Nov. 7

Surviving and Succeeding as a Step-parent
Five Wednesdays, 12:30 – 1:45 p.m., starts Nov. 14

Caring for the Caregiver
Four Wednesdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., starts Nov. 14
