Bennett H. Pearl, 85, of West Hartford, died April 15. He was the husband of Libby Savitt Pearl. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Louis and Sadie (Aronsky) Pearl. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during the Korean War. He was a member of Congregation Beth Israel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David Pearl and his wife Judy of Millis, Mass., Sherri Pearl Horn and her husband Jonathan of Wellesley, Mass., and Elaine Pearl Shapiro and her husband Michael of New London; his grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua and Rebecca Pearl, and Stephanie and Ali Horn; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gordon B. Pearl and his sister Phyllis P. Fink.
